Most people believe that Segun Awe's music is different and can't be classified, because he was born in a village, where he was exposed to the root of Africa without the interferences of modern technology. In the first track, Omi (Water) Se alafia ni means, is it peaceful?. 

The villlage where he is from is where you get different rythms usually ignored by the modern soul.
